MILITARY NURSING SERVICE (MNS).
Unmarried lady candidates with +2 qualification with Physics, Chemistry and Biology elective subjects, have an excellent opportunity to be commissioned in the defence forces as officers through the Military Nursing Services (MNS). Selection to the MNS is through a written, physical and medical examination. Annually there are two intakes to the MNS. Only lady candidates are eligible to apply. Single divorcees and widows can also apply. The age limit is between 17 to 24 years of age.
Our academy imparts both on-line and face-to-face coaching to candidates desiring to appear for the MNS examination. Coaching and guidance is provided for all aspects of the written, physical and medical examination. For a + 2 qualified lady candidate, the MNS is an exciting career option, and a successful candidate can expect to become a commissioned officer in the defence services by the age of 21/22 years. Successful candidates will be commissioned into the armed forces as gazetted officers and the starting salary would be around Rs. 45000/-, plus other perquisites. The duration of our coaching programme is 3 months. Keeping in mind the needs of candidates residing in remote and far away locations, our academy also provides on-line coaching for the MNS examination. This is in addition to the regular classes at the academy campuses. Guidance is provided for each and every stage of the recruitment process, starting from filling up of the application form to the joining in the services.
